By using this platform — whether as a business owner or a consumer — you agree to these Terms of Use.

2. Business Listings

Free listings:

Business listings on Eastern Pulse are currently offered free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid listing tiers in the future, with reasonable notice given to existing listing holders.

Accuracy of information:

By submitting a listing, you confirm that all information provided is accurate, current, and relates to a legitimate business operating in or around Pretoria East. You agree to notify us of any changes to your business information.

We reserve the right to:

• Approve, reject, or remove any listing at our discretion
• Edit listing content for accuracy, formatting, or appropriateness
• Remove listings that violate these terms or that we deem inappropriate

3. Prohibited Content

You may not submit listings or content that:

• Is false, misleading, or fraudulent
• Infringes on the intellectual property rights of any third party
• Promotes illegal goods or services
• Contains offensive, defamatory, or discriminatory material
• Impersonates another business or individual
• Contains spam, unsolicited advertising, or malicious links

4. Consumer Use

Consumers who register to receive deals and notifications agree to:

• Provide accurate contact information
• Use the platform for personal, non-commercial purposes only
• Not misuse deal offers, vouchers, or promotions

Deal availability is subject to change and is determined solely by the participating business. Eastern Pulse does not guarantee the availability of any listed deal or promotion.

5. Communications

By submitting your contact details and providing consent, you agree to receive communications from Eastern Pulse via WhatsApp and email. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by replying STOP to a WhatsApp message or clicking the unsubscribe link in any email.

Transactional messages related to your listing or account may still be sent following opt-out from marketing communications.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Eastern Pulse platform — including the name, logo, design, and text — is the property of Luano Technologies CC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any platform content without our prior written permission.

By submitting a listing, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your business name, description, and contact information on the platform for the purposes of operating the service.

7. Limitation of Liability

Eastern Pulse acts as a directory and lead-generation platform. We are not a party to any transaction or arrangement between a business and a consumer that originates from the platform. We do not verify the quality, safety, or legality of any business or deal listed.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Luano Technologies CC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or your reliance on any listing or deal.

8. Availability

We aim to keep Eastern Pulse available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to suspend, modify, or discontinue the platform or any feature at any time without notice.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from the use of this platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the platform following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the date of the most recent update.
